Available in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi versions, the Wi-Fi model also supports collecting BLE data from external Bluetooth sensors and uploading data to servers or cloud platforms.

    No, this value functions solely as a binary occupancy indicator where "0" signifies no presence and any non-zero integer signifies presence detected. For precise people counting, please contact our sales team to purchase the dedicated People Counting versions of the MSR01.
  • What is the operating voltage range of the MSR01 if the voltage cannot be stabilized at 12V during deployment?

    The MSR01 supports an operating voltage range of 10V-25V.
  • Can the MSR01 Millimeter Wave Radar Sensor directly output raw radar detection data?

    Our MSR01 currently does not support transmitting raw radar scan data to third-party systems. Instead, it outputs processed results such as coordinate data and people counting statistics. If you require access to millimeter-wave radar raw data for independent analysis, we can customize the firmware to align with your specific project requirements.
  • Does the MSR01 Millimeter Wave Radar Sensor support reporting cumulative numbers of people detected?

    No, the MSR01 currently supports reporting only the number of people detected within set time periods.
  • Is it possible to receive and parse MSR01 data on a PC without a Minew gateway?

    For the BLE version of MSR01, a PC cannot directly scan the beacon broadcast data. However, it can be scanned and received using the external Nordic DK tool or by downloading the PC version of NRF Connect. For the WIFI version of MSR01, an additional Minew gateway is not required. The radar detection data reported by MSR01 can be received on a PC via the MQTT.fx client software.
  • Will MSR01’s radar signal cause any harm to human bodies?

    The radar operates at a safe 60GHz frequency, posing no harm to humans. Radar systems, including those operating at 60GHz, are designed to ensure safety within established human exposure limits.
  • What does the MSR01 Millimeter Wave Radar Sensor reply on to recognize people or objects by?

    It utilizes human identification characteristics, which may also extend to animals, but with potential radar interference from metal. Height detection settings can filter out such interference when there's human traffic. Objects can be detected without additional labels, and the algorithm distinguishes automatically between humans and other objects.
